220 V alternating current. Connector plug/outlet correspond generally to the Euro-norm, but as a precaution one should still bring along an adaptor.
The greater part of Austria lies in the cool/temperate climate zone in which humid westerly winds predominate. With over half of the country dominated by the Alps the alpine climate is the predominant one. In the East, in the Pannonian Plain and along the Danube valley, the climate shows continental features with less rain than the alpine areas. Although Austria is cold in the winter, in the summer temperatures can be relatively warm reaching 20-35 degrees Celsius.
Linz: Summers average maximum is about 23°C (73°F) minimum around 13°C (55°F). Winters average maximum is about 1°C (34°F) minimum around -3°C (26°F). It can rain/shower all over the year.
Vienna: Summers average maximum is about 25°C (77°F) minimum around 15°C (59°F). Winters average maximum is about 2°C (36°F) minimum around -2°C (28°F). It can rain/shower all over the year. There's alway a slight breeze from the Vienna Forest that makes the air clean.
Innsbruck: Summers average maximum is about 25°C (77°F) minimum around 12°C (53°F). Winters average maximum is about 1°C (34°F) minimum around -5°C (23°F). It can rain/shower all over the year.
Salzburg: Summers average maximum is about 23°C (73°F) minimum around 12°C (53°F). Winters average maximum is about 2°C (36°F) minimum around -3°C (26°F). It can rain/shower all over the year.
